This monumental print revisits the colorful Impressionist scenes Loïs Mailou Jones painted around the Alpes Maritimes, near Cabris, the hometown of her friend Céline Tabary in the south of France. In 1949, she received the John Hope Purchase Prize for her landscape Ville d'Houdain, France at the Eighth Annual Exhibition of Paintings, Sculpture and Prints by Negro Artists, Atlanta University.
