Autograph Letter Signed, "Nelson & Bronte," to "Mr. Fellows," reporting that he has forwarded a recommendation on his behalf to Lord [John Jervis, 1st Earl of] St Vincent. 1 page, square 8vo, with (now detached) integral address leaf addressed in holograph and additionally signed ("Nelson & Bronte"); letter mounted to larger board and address leaf mounted to verso, remnants of matting along lower edge of letter, few tiny holes at fold intersections, faint scattered soiling.

"I have this day sent to Lord St. Vincent a very full and handsome letter from Mr. Marsh respecting your character with them for without that he would not hear of doing any thing for you. And I only hope he will now think of your situation. I should be glad always to be of use to you but really I have no interest but nothing shall be wanting on the part of your most sincere well wisher."
